Blue Employee Decals
Blue decals are available for full-time faculty (including adjunct faculty), staff and part-time faculty and staff not enrolled as students. Fees are pro-rated based upon time of purchase, and there is a sliding scale of fees based upon the staff or faculty member's annual income. If you are a new hire, or missed the early sign-up period, stop by our office to get a decal. For information about red and yellow parking decals for part-time faculty and staff click here.
Note: Graduate students with a GA appointment are eligible for blue decals with proof of GA appointment for the current school year.

Red and Yellow Decals
Red decals are available to part-time faculty and staff, as are yellow decals.
Note that yellow decals are only valid in Lots 18 and 56 and the yellow portions of Lot 100 located in the northeast corner, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and in any unrestricted, unassigned space from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m. daily. These decal holders may not utilize 15-minute loading zones between 2 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Gold Decals
A gold 20 year decal will be awarded to employees with 20 years of University service. This decal will carry the same privileges as a blue parking decal.
If you are requesting a replacement or additional Gold Emeritus decal, please be aware of the following change in regulations effective August 1, 2012:
Prior to the retirement of the Emeritus distinction, individuals owning and correctly displaying a gold 20 year Emeritus decal did not have to pay a parking meter. However, due to the retirement of the Emeritus distinction individuals who own a gold 20 year decal must now pay the parking meter.

What to bring to Parking
Regardless of which decal(s) you purchase, eligible applicants must present their valid driver's license, unexpired vehicle registration card (not the title), and their SIU ID Card. If recently hired, a copy of notice of appointment will be required. Payment may be made by check, cash, or major credit card for the current decal amount.
